This week, 3P have been busy developing their fine motor skills! ✏️ Our favourite activity has been Dynamite Dough Disco 🪩, where we’ve had lots of fun squeezing, rolling and squishing our dough to strengthen our fingers and hands.
We’ve then been putting these skills into practice in our handwriting, taking care to form our letters beautifully. It’s been wonderful to see the children building their confidence and celebrating their progress as they develop these important skills.

🌟 This week, 3P have been exploring our Skill of the Week: Problem Solving 🧩 and our Career of the Week: Lawyer ⚖️. The children have enjoyed developing their problem-solving skills and discovering how lawyers use these skills in their everyday work. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to think critically, ask questions and explore how our skills can help us in the world of work! 💛

🇫🇷💛 This week, Year 3 were delighted to welcome Madame Ganley! The children enjoyed learning about what school life is like in France, discovering more about French culture and learning a French rhyme together. ✨
It was a lovely opportunity to broaden our horizons, celebrate different cultures and strengthen our wonderful school community. Merci, Madame Ganley, for such a special visit! 🇫🇷📚

In our Design and Technology lesson, Year 5 made flatbreads. Unleavened bread, which can be baked or fried. Children enjoyed measuring and making the dough and most enjoyed the tasting and evaluating too.

A HUGE well done to the 23 children in 6E who have joined the 40 club this half term. I am so proud of everyone in our class for the massive progress they have made across the last 8 weeks! Keep up the practice everyone. It’s really paying off 🤩
