We are incredibly proud of Jayden in Year 3 at Hindley Green Community Primary School for his bravery, courage and quick thinking after helping to save his mum's life. When Jayden found his mum unconscious after collapsing at home, he immediately called 999 and stayed on the phone to the emergency services until help arrived. Doctors later told the family that without Jayden's prompt actions, the outcome could have been very different. To show such calmness and maturity in such a frightening situation is truly remarkable, especially for an eight year old. Everyone at Hindley Green Community Primary School is incredibly proud of the way Jayden responded and the courage he showed. This also highlights the importance of helping children understand what to do in an emergency situation and giving them the confidence to act when someone needs help. Jayden, you are an absolute superstar and an inspiration to us all. We cannot wait to celebrate you in school and give you the hero's welcome you deserve.
