Extra Curricular Clubs

At Hindley Green Community Primary School, as part of the QUEST Trust, we offer a diverse range of after school clubs designed to inspire, engage and develop every child. Our enrichment offer reflects the QUEST vision of “Early Years to Employment”, helping children develop the knowledge, skills, confidence and aspirations they need for their future.

We believe clubs provide valuable opportunities for children to try new experiences, develop skills, build confidence, make friends and discover new interests in a safe and supportive environment.

Our clubs include opportunities across sport, music, the arts, creativity, technology and the wider world of work. Where possible, we make meaningful links to careers, helping children understand how their interests and talents can connect to future pathways. For example:

  • Cooking Club – developing skills linked to chefs, catering and hospitality.
  • Art and Craft Club – exploring careers such as artists, designers, illustrators and makers.
  • Sports Clubs – developing skills linked to coaching, sports science, fitness and leadership.
  • Music Club – exploring careers as musicians, performers, teachers, composers and sound technicians.
  • STEM and Technology Clubs – introducing careers in engineering, science, technology and digital industries.
  • Gardening and Eco Clubs – connecting learning to horticulture, environmental science and sustainability.
  • Drama and Performance Club – developing skills linked to acting, theatre, production and media.

Clubs are open to all children, regardless of experience or ability, providing opportunities to develop talents, build relationships and grow in confidence.

Through our after-school clubs, we ensure every child has access to broad and meaningful experiences that contribute to their personal development, raise aspirations and help them discover what they enjoy, what they are good at and where their interests could take them in the future.
